I used to use iTunes on a MacBook to organize my MP3 collection. But since my Mac Book is History, I'm back to using Amarok for my music. One feature I really liked in iTunes was the ablility to print nice inlets for CD jewel cases.
As I didn't find anything like this for Linux I came up with a solution by myself: bbJewel. It takes a list of MP3 files on the command-line parses the file content for title, artist, length and a cover image and creates PDF ready to print with the CD cover. You can see an example PDF here.
bbJewel is a small Perl script utilizing a list of CPAN modules. You can eitehr download the source package or use the ready packaged RPM (build on openSUSE 11.0).
There are certain dependencies for bbJewel. You need to have the following Perl modules installed:
utf8
version
MP3::Info
MP3::Tag
Getopt::Long
PDF::API2
GD::Image
